- Conclusion - A verse that sums up the whole
Life has many concerns that occupy us. Many of our concerns will always be there. The problem is not the things we worry about, but our image of God. We do not really think God wants to help us, and will help us with everything we need.
Although the council, we often give others is to ask first when difficult situations arise, it is nevertheless prayer often the last resort, we decide when we feel overwhelmed by life's worries, instead of being the first solution we resort to.
Christ asked the question: "Which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his life?" In Matthew's Gospel Chapter 6:
Matt from 6.25 to 34
Therefore I tell you: Do not be concerned about life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, nor about your body, what ye shall put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the sky! They sow not, they reap nor gather into barns, but your Father in heaven feeds them anyway. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Who of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his life? 28 And why are you worried about clothing? Look at the lilies of the field, how they grow! They strive nor spin, 29 yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of them. 30 When God clothes grass of the field so good, that which grows today and thrown into the oven in the morning, how much more will he clothe you - you little faith! 31 So do not you worry, and do not say: 'What shall we eat? " or 'What shall we drink? " or 'What shall we wear? " 32 These are the nations concerned. But your Father in heaven knows that you need all this. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and you will get everything else as well. 34 So do you no worries for tomorrow, tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
